I saw a concert in Balard in Paris in 80' just after Kid creole & coconuts which was "the big production" ! The different between financial resources and amplifiers was huge. Fela & his music was a real discovery for me with 20 musiciens & chorists on stage and Fela as conductor...Amazing and so actual ! His music never be outdated ! Peace

Wow! As a professional live performer this was so interesting and inspiring to watch! How to naturally communicate and have fun with ur audience with or without music playing! Omooo! Fela is an entertainment god!

Never! Fela didn't do any stuff other that weed! He disciplined any crew who tried hard stuffs. I've seen interviews of some of them... Not sure what he was sniffing though, but you could see much going on during that worship session in the shrine that you don't have a clue to what they are.

@@osaobomhenefoghe8967 that was coke. Look closely
@rosealinatsuneo66012 жыл бұрын
@@osaobomhenefoghe8967 I believe that was coke because after he sniffed it used a tissue paper to wipe his nose, that’s what coke does to your nose. And the way he was reacting on stage, it was pretty obvious
@osaobomhenefoghe89672 жыл бұрын
@@rosealinatsuneo6601 my friend, are you aware of powdered tobacco? It does that to your nose too. Besides, Africa has different types of locally made stuffs with tobacco all for the high and some therapy. I maintain, Fela didn't coke.
