15th November 1983 was my 16th birthday, Jack looks like he'd been celebrating for me, Groovy Jam even if a little too Polyrhythmic at times.

I don’t know which one of these dudes Jack Bruce is - but I certainly know who the Black President is! I had the luck to see Fela and the Africa 90 many years ago in a dope heavy haze of incessant, hypnotic rhythm. This is pretty good too.

I remember watching an interview with Ian Anderson, many years after this gig had taken place, where Ian manifested his disappointment with this experience, namely saying (in sarcastic jest, obviously) that at times Fela Kuty was a whole bar behind or ahead of the other musicians. At any rate, he hated the experience.
