Good info, I switched from F2 to F6 and it is so much nicer using a tool that fits your hand.

Very Good review. Well I never knew you had such small hands.

Hi, so glad that I found a pro with same small hand issue😂😂. I’ve been struggling to find a suitable FELCO model for myself as I have really small hand -only 17cm length. I’ve tried FELCO 2 which is way too big, as a result I can’t really cut bigger branch by one hand. Unfortunately I didn’t find place to try FELCO 6 (for medium hand) and FELCO 14 (for small hand)... have you tried both? What is your hand size? It’ll be great if u can help me with some reference. Moreover, how do u like the FELCO rotating handle version? I kinda think it’s more for the professional people, not really necessary for me (just a garden lover). Many thanks in advance!

well, I hope I can help. I have used all the felco you mentioned the 2,6,14 and I have used the 12 with the rotating handles as well. now for reference, my hand length is 18cm so very similar to yours. the 2 is fare to big. the 6 is ok but I still find it a bit of a stretch to use it comfortably and the 12 with the rotating handle takes some getting used to and if your only using the pruners for general work its more of a hindrance than a help. so id says your best be is with the 14 the fit my hand so well and are a joy to use. I hope this helps.

@@MrGardener18 I didn't ask this question, but I had the same question in mind. I waned to thank you so much for the reply and comparison! My hand is fairly small too - 18 cm (like yours) from top of middle finger to base of my palm. I was debating between the Felco 6 ["medium" size pruners] and what this video covered, the Felco 14 ["small" size pruners] since according to Felco's hand guide, I would fall more into the "medium" category. Thanks for your comments about the F-6 still being a bit of stretch to use comfortably .. after watch videos on both models, I find that the Felco 14 might be better suited for my hands. It's rare to find feedback from someone who has used so many Felco models, so I wanted to thank you again for taking the time answer this. Also a thank you to the original poster, Ke Ma, to posing this question! I am sure there may be many others in a similar situation who are reading this.

I have 17cm hands and have been using the #2 for +5 years now as a professional landscaper-gardener. Love it. It's light, strong, springy, sharp, and never lets me down. Contemplating the #14 for kicks.

Excellent review - Thank you! Have you, by chance, used the Felco 160s? The handle is carbon-fiber and I was debating between these 2 for my wife.
@MrGardener184 жыл бұрын
I've not used the 160s so I can't really comment on them but they look to be as well made as the normal felco just a bit lighter. either one would be a great choice.

Love your reviews. It's not the size but the strength of your hands. It's a poor cousin to the Felco 2.
