The 1 Life Path starts to gain footing and confidence when you - as "silly" as it might sound - gain mastery over certain skills that you feel strongly about. Are you great at charcoal drawing? Do you excel playing a certain video game? Are you an amazing cook? When you feel the pull of lack of self-confidence, "default" into doing that thing you're really good at and you KNOW you're really good at. As you feel that sense of security in your mastery of that "thing," consider how to take that sense of yourself into other aspects of your life. It is a good start to get you into your creativity and it allows you to actually FEEL the feeling of confidence. As you feel that, you can replicate it in other part of your life. The Life Path, in my opinion, is always present (from birth forward). It's the "long game" each of us plays in life and we go through different levels of challenge, developments, etc as we walk that pathway. The Maturity number is a number that I would guess is what you're referring to when you ask about when it "kicks in." The Maturity is the Life Path + the Destiny or the Expression number (whatever is your preferred terminology) and that number ripens and begins to take flight in the late 30s, early 40s. 🙂
