The reason why Matty is so fast is because since he doesn’t know what he has to beat he won’t rush it if he has to beat a 4 second solve he won’t look and maybe, he could beat it

Could also be a double edged sword, because if the opponent does a bad solve and u only need to safety it but you mess up trying to do the best solve it can backfire. But it's working for him so gg

I found monkey league during lock down. Absolutely love it! Thought I'd buy a cube. These guys inspired me. Got the RS3M 2020. Within 2 weeks I can solve it and got down to 91 seconds. I was so pleased but I know I'm a tortoise and these guys are Cheetah 😄. Can't wait for the next match up. 👍

Before the Monkey League I thought all really fast cubers solved the same, but that really isn't the case. It's interesting to see how some top cubers like Lucas and Sebastian perfect their fingertricks and recognition to achieve superhuman tps, while others like Tymon perfect pseudoslotting and efficiency so that they can maintain a lower tps and still get insane times. No two cubers are alike.
