Seems to me like Ruihang only focuses on tps. Tps is important, but I feel like he would be better off without trying so much to have a lot of speed. His tps can give him good solves, but it can also give him bad solves because of the lockups. Curious to see how Ruihang progresses though.

Well if you look at Ruihang's tps, it is in quick burst, which makes his average tps high. But Max's tps is usually a bit more consistent, so I think his average tps makes his the tps faster than Ruihang's.
