He really has been grieving the loss of his grandparents. And that was even around the time that MaPa came out. He was really emotional practicing his line. There are couple of interviews that he literally broke down and cried or teared up, saying he can't move on from that hurt. Because now that he has money to provide for them, he can't even give it to them anymore. He got a melting butterfly with two skulls as a tattoo in honor of his grandparents who raised him. This whole album is like him publicizing his diary or his therapy sessions. I bet "Ache" felt cathartic for him. To just let it all out.

I read that Felip met his parents only Twice before he joined SB 19 because they had to go to Malaysia to work.Then both grandparents who raised him & his sister passed away recently. He had a rough life growing up.

I remembered a reactor - catalog - saying the title of this album is 7 sins- but there are 9 songs- first of the song is foes , last is the ache- so maybe these 2 songs are the result of the 7 sins

You could also see Foes and Ache as bookends. You have Foes which present themselves in the 7 sins and in the midst of the ache, when you are at the lowest, remember to look up to the light. That will take you above and beyond the 7 sins.

Thanks Dennis for reacting to Felip's Ache. This is my favorite in the 7Sins album. Fyi, in an interview, Felip said he was actually crying during the recording that's why there are cracks in his voice. He decided to keep the imperfections in the recording to keep the emotions authentic. #FELIP_7Sins ❤
