I feel it, Rachel makes a lot of us throw caution to the wind and try new things. She just has a way about her. LOL Your little guy is adorable! ❤ I love ALL of your projects and can't wait for this dress 🦞🦞🦞🦞 😁

The making of adorable little guys through violence will never stop being so fun to watch! The little guy being a hat is a bonus too, he can sit on a shelf to be adorable AND sit on your head adorably! We all should be so lucky to have adorable little hat guys honestly

Thanks for showing how you fix your hat on, I have to wear a hat in the sun but it's a pain getting them to stay put, i have hat pins but can't really get my right arm over my head. Now I'm getting them clips, 😊. Little guys very cute, I'm sure our lady maksy would agree. Can't wait to see the finished ensemble. ❤
@FantasticalFolliesCostumingАй бұрын
Yeah! The clips are great! The only catch is they might mess your hairdo up when you remove them. Thanks for watching!

That’s so much fun! Love it I needle felted a farm scene of little sheep on the bottom of my pant leg. It was to commemorate the fact that while I was helping on the farm a lamb peed on me lol. The friend I was visiting does amazing wet felt hats, scarfs and shawls. The shawls are made with a silk base and are so very stunning. As with all farms and other small businesses you visit you work lol.

What a cute and clever hat! Love the gnarly little lobster! I like to make cloth dolls and you can make great hair for them by using needle felting techniques but I decided that I'm just not going to get into this. Its a so much easier to use wool roving, make a hairstyle and then glue it on. Looks as good and is so much faster. 🧡💙
@FantasticalFolliesCostumingАй бұрын
Thank you!! And yeah, I bet that's faster 🤣 needle felting does take time!

You are fantastic!! I'm glad I found you. I love Rachel Maksy. You remind me of her in this one. Oh, I crochet and resin work. Lol. I just love watching choas and creativity. It is just pure joy.

Thank you! I'm so glad to have you here! We definitely...have similar senses of humor and levels of chaos 🤣 That's great! Crochet is fun, but resin's not a skill I've yet tackled 😲
@LaurasBookBlogАй бұрын
I have not tried needle felting because I simply do not have any more room for craft supplies in my apartment lol. Every surface is covered with knitting needles, crochet hooks, fabric, thread, block print stamps, and yarn. it's chaos.

Oooooh I get that!!! If I hadn't already had the hardware, I think I would have opted for something other technique for that very reason 😆

Skipping finger armor is a personal choice for each adventurer, but side to get more needles seems to be a requirement.
@FantasticalFolliesCostumingАй бұрын
Yep 🤣 I feel like snapping needles is like, a felter's rite of passage or something...or should be a square on Felting Bingo

This is so awesome. I don't have room for any more hobbies but I definitely want to try this. 💜💜💜

You should! I like that it only requires a few pieces of equipment to get started, and they're small and economical to boot 😁

Needle felting was something I picked up a few years ago, and loved it. There is a channel I learned from, Seraphina Fibers? I think. Its sculptural and tactile and fun, but now I want to play with spun cotton, no needles and less expensive than wool... Im so glad you tried it and hope the opportunity to create more little guys inspires you to do more. Enjoy!
@FantasticalFolliesCostuming2 ай бұрын

For the name, how about something a bit more formal and in keeping with the Victorian era. Earl of Redclaw? Lord Pinchingyou? Or just Sir Buttersoon? LOL I am easily amused 😂🤣😂
