@@nishvlogs my female budgie copies my male cockatiel. It's crazy. Not even same species and they don't even 'like' eachother much. But she learned to talk and whistle from him.

Can you do a tutorial on training females to sing?
@nishvlogs2 жыл бұрын
Actually i didn't train her. I trained male cockatiel only and she learnt from him. We need to start training from 1st month. Hand feed them. Spent more time with them and play videos of other cockatiel sings like that. Don't keep them in pair at first.

Hi , nice birds! Just wanted to say that those perches aren’t good for your birds health ! They are very smooth and have no texture which can lead to the bird developing arthritis . Please consider purchasing natural branches of different widths . Or you can make some with bird safe , non toxic tree branches . Have a good day .
@nishvlogs3 жыл бұрын
Thank you for your valuable advice, i changed the cage to a bigger one also i will change the perch asap.

Can also get the soft cotton rope ones --- Booda perches I used a lot of those for my birds --- it gives them diff widths to rest their feet and legs ... just by the twist in the rope ...

That looks to be a juvenile male, not a hen. Are you sure it's a hen?
@nishvlogs2 жыл бұрын
Not sure.. identified female by physical features. No DNA test. No eggs laid
@TheCondoInRedondo2 жыл бұрын
This is an adolescent bird, correct? The size of the head (from ear to ear) seems consistent with a cockatiel roughly four to six months old. If so, it will still have juvenile plumage, meaning that males and hens are going to look a lot alike. Either way, you've got yourself a charming pet who's probably going to be quite the chatterbox for the foreseeable future. Best of luck. Keep us updated, especially after the first adult molt. That's when it will be less ambiguous as to its gender.
