I really can relate to this, being a huge fan of darts and the Professional Darts Corporation. Since 2019, the ProTour has welcomed more and more female darts players to the circuit. The 2020 World Championship had a huge upset when Fallon Sherrock became the first female to beat a male player in a televised major tournament. It’s all about being inclusive and knowing that one’s gender doesn’t make them any more or less competent at anything in life. Even today, more females are on the ProTour. These include Beau Greaves (aged 18), Delta Hedman, Mikiru Suzuki, the well-known Lisa Ashton and more.

It's a very difficult situation though as there were far more of them than there were him and they knew that they could all take the piss and be cocky because of that fact. If he shouted and swore at them or made any threats of violence to them, they would have all got together and beat him up for it, or possibly even stabbed him, or shot him if it's in America. He did the right thing by talking to his girlfriend calmly, offering words of reassurance and telling her about them being idiots and he didn't want to see her rise to their bullshit and get in a temper. I could see in her face that she REALLY wanted to scream at the top of voice, cry and run at those guys and punch them all at the same time. But that would have obviously got her into serious trouble. Her boyfriend was helping her by calming her down and trying to raise her confidence and self-esteem about winning and achieving. Because he has a very loving, caring and supportive boyfriend, she won it despite those arseholes. The best form of revenge is success.
