For a group of people who are fabled to be the strongest fighters and practitioner's of magic in all the universe, they really have slow reaction times. Evil Lynn takes the sword from Skeletor and he just lets her walk around "unchallenged ". Having stabbed Adam before he could change into He-Man, Skeletor above all else knows there is a moment where she would be vulnerable. It makes zero sense that he wouldn't at least fight her and attempt to get the sword back. Fight at the very least until she claims the power, at that point he could still have teleported away.
