I had the original Joy and almost finished the bottle before giving it away. I liked it, but didn't impress me. Experienced noses👍 are recommending like you the intense version. I will give it a try.

I smelled it today. I like the Intense better for sure, but by no means is it intense as a fragrance. I would wear it during the day. It's very pleasant and pretty.

The original reminds me so much of Loves Baby Soft...I had a sample of the intense...it's ok, but my favorite Dior still is Blooming Bouquet

Hi from Bahrain, I personally did not like any of them in the beginning! But...last week I received Joy Intense as a B'day gift 🥳... it is not a love yet, still in the Like Department. However, I see the Intense version is for all seasons, ages, places, climates...and a great contender as a gender nutral.

Great review👍 I agree Intense is more potent than the original Joy. I don’t really see this as a Fall/Winter perfume though. Still, I will probably purchase for Spring/Summer.

oh it will work for spring and summer too, it is very soft and I can't imagine it will survive in the cold weather

I changed my mind about the original Joy. I thought I didn’t like it because I was influenced by the hype followed by all the negative reviews. I was encouraged to try it again after Angel Lately talked about it and now I like it! Next I need to revisit the Intense version. 🙂

@Tommelise How sweeet of you! I am from Romania, Europe :) I am a sagitarius but my descendant is Scorpio and I am like my scorpio friends in many aspect. I like a lot Ajmal Violet musc , Versace Crystal Noir, Dior Hypnotic Poison, Amouage Gold, Tsarina Ormonde Jayne, She wood Dsquared2 ... and I just don't like any Tom Ford :( I say this because many reviewers associate scorpio women with tom ford. I saw your video for scorpios but I was thinking of an affordable siganture scent. Very useful for me your opinion regarding Joy Intense. Thank you, thank you!!!

Ok so I tried this perfume when it first came out and I fell in love with it I received comments on this by men like crazy lol. However when I went to buy it again brought it he and sprayed and hated it super strong musty smell . Hate hate hate it .

I agree with you , The intense version is way better, the original joy smells too young and the longevity is poor. The intense version is on the way as I speak!

The original is kind of boring to me...i like the scent but it doesnt grab my attention. I wanna try the intense but do you think itll be too intense? I like attention grabbing perfumes but dread the "grandma smell" overbearing drydowns like coco Mademoiselle. I usually wear Gucci Flora, YSL Mon Paris, or Chanel Gabrielle Essence. Do you think itll work for me?

I love the intense version. The original always seemed too basic. I bought the intense a few days ago. 56 Euros for 50ml. I guess that's a fair price. I also bought the mon guerlain intense. 30ml for 42 Euros. Even though I already have too many perfumes🙈

@@Tommelise I've tried Joy Intense today and got a little gratis-sample from Douglas for me to test, and I'm loving this, it's creamy, fruity, sweet, and you know what? I can smell black-currant in it which I love, even though black-currant not mentioned in Fragrantica, anyway a big yes to Joy Intense❤
