EcoFeminist legends Vandana Shiva, Farida Akhter, and Susan Hawthorne have highlighted the role of women in the ecological movement throughout their lives. In this episode, they discuss how environmental destruction is based on the patriarchal mindset, from the language we use to the way we relate to the natural world.
FiLiA runs the largest annual grassroots feminist conference in Europe. We are a Women-led Volunteer organisation and part of the Women’s Liberation Movement. Our vision is a world free from patriarchy where all women and girls are liberated.
