This is already happening. I read an article about a woman in a woman's shelter taking part in a rehab program. She was assigned a man as a roommate who said he was transitioning. Part of her issues were PTSD stemmed from fear of men from an attack she had once experienced. This was causing her distress She asked that he be removed and was told by the shelter that she was violating their 0 tolerance discrimination policy and would lose her room. She lost her spot in a program in a womans shelter to a man.

Toril The Fool the logical and reasonable answer to that is transgender bathrooms. As the bare minimum single stall family type bathrooms with a good lock on the door. No one wants trans men or women to be hurt, but the fact of the matter is pushing to allow both genders in the women’s room HAS already led women to be hurt. And not just women but little girls too. If I knew that my pushing to be allowed into a bathroom was going to end up with one single child hurt I wouldn’t want it to happen. The fact that it has already happened and the trans communities response is “we don’t give a CRAP what happens to anyone. WE DESERVE to be whatever and wherever we want!” Is pretty telling.

When I had to go in the women's latrine, the women in there realized why I was there and what I had to do and had no problem with it. They even tipped me sometimes. Whenever I saw a man go into the Ladies' room, I went right in after him and shouted, "Hey you! OUT". Never did one person say anything against me doing that. Also every female from age 5 to 95 not only appreciated it, but were in full agreement it was the right thing to do.
