Femto No Longer Clones ECU's/ DME's... Supra Updates

Femto no longer clones ECU's is wild news and I don't think anyone really expected it. Right now this is all of the information I have but I will be sure to follow up with it. Damn brother, that sucks you were not able to get that transmission done. You will eventually don't worry. My M340i is currently in my shop Mtech Performance getting that spool Performance stage 2 transmission kit installed along with upgraded Vargas/PST carbon fiber driveshaft, 6870 next gen turbo, visconti valve cover, and klm ice box kit to combat our "Hot Florida summers" as you mentioned. Now i can finally cut this thing loose after built transmission! Good luck on yours as well!

Hell yeah!!!! That sounds like quite the build that’s getting installed. Thats exciting! Yeah the hot Florida summers suck. I am also tempted on the KLM ice box. I am worried about a interchiller on a BMW build. All the sensors I’m worried it would mess with something. 😣

Man when I saw this notification I read it to mean femto is no longer an option for unlocks period. I just bought my Supra 1-2 weeks ago 😂 I think the lack of cloning doesn’t matter as much now? No matter what as long as they can still partial unlock, and install MHD or BM3, ok fine. Though not having the ecutek option is a big deal for some I guess.

MHD+ and BM3 have come a long way. Especially now that they both have some sort of port integration.

whats the difference with partial and cloning? i want to tune my car with MHD but im still kind of lost. any tips?

@@ghetto-lemon I would just do a partial. Significantly cheaper and it’s almost just as good as Ecutek.

⁠​⁠​⁠@@ShayHarambeOkay a couple of questions , What’s the difference between a bench unlock and a partial unlock . I’ve came across a bench unlock by a company called speedindustry which is the same thing right ? And also since it’s just a partial Unlock or whatever I don’t necessarily need to ship my ecu to femto for that to be done I can just have it done here in the US and then get MHD+ or BM3 and be done with it right?
