hello, I have a question, in the first projection, the CR was closer to the gonads but were not protected why in the second projection ( the CR is away ) then the gonads are protected? Thanks !!!

I believe it has to do with the radiosensitive tissues being in the area or region of interest, you can not use the shielding protection if it will be in the way of what we are trying to image. In the first projection if the shielding was there it would be in the way of the femoral head.
