Now that is a really nice post driver system. Sure could have used that several years ago when I had to drive 30 posts. I used a one-man auger and manual post hole digger . Believe me, I would have loved this device. Enjoyed a full-watch. Have a fine week . 👍🏽🙂.

yes that would piss me off, having that thing screaming the whole time, you cant even think strait .. it not as bad with my troy built tiller as they have great muflers on them and it is not right there in your face, i woulder how this would do on my land with nothing but rock hard red clay, once the spring thaw drys up you cant hardly pit a pick in the ground, can it climb steep hills, in Canada we have miles of rolling country, thick timber, my fence lines run aross feild, though the bush on a cut fence line, can this thing go off roading though the bush? you never see these things in Canada, i have called many mfg asking if there a dealer up here, the answr seems to always be the same, no. i ask why, answer, we dont care to sell in Canada, just like GRK screws fasaners, they got there start here in my town, but all there sales people travaled to the usa .. i asked why none here, we after usa sales was the answer i got, i asked them if i could be the local whole saler, once they seen what i was doing they cut me off and took it over

If you are in sandy ground or sandy loam it will work but getting clay or have rocks gives you another challenge.

I have used Rusty's pounders for a decade and built miles of fence professionally on the blue ridge mountains to clay substrate of Georgia. Also he is driving in north central VA which had an average top-soil nlayer of .25".

but they don't stay where you put them, they end up hitting a rock and getting pushed. everyone uses flat posts.

Pine trees sure will dry the ground out. I'd want tracks on one for rough terrain, and maybe something that didn't bounce around so much. Throw in some low pressure servo controls, an onboard welder, a wire unroller/stretcher, and the fuel efficiency of a Yanmar diesel, and she'd be just perfect.

that is just what i built some 17 years ago, works great, just a little to heavy for soft ground

Hello, Love the product and how you built that design. I was hoping i could talk to you about a few things and for some reason there is no email to get ahold of you on your page. is there a way i can email or call you actually to talk about this particular hydraulic design of being self propelled. That would mean alot. I am a fence contractor serving all midwest region. of the States.

I own a Wheatheart Self Propelled Pounder. Good Pounder but lousy drive system that Wheatheart has not corrected or improved upon as they told me they would. Typical Corporate response. They just ignore you. I know how to correct their failure and I will. But they ain't getting any of the rewards. The seals in the entire hydraulic system is the next complaint. All O-ring seals. Not one lip seal in it. Till I started replacing them. Cheaper is better they think. Good for them but not the customer. You get low quality at a high cost!!!
