Good job! So I happened to pick one of these up in fantastic working condition, but I can't find any info/specs on it. Any idea where to look?

You won't find much on these older models at all. They're a solid state model that clicks, before low impedance was the norm. Gallagher invented low impedance technology for electric fence units in the 1960's but didn't come to the States until the mid 1970's. Now everybody uses low impedance these days. On your unit, don't expect it to run a huge amount of fence or be able to tolerate a lot of load on the fence line, grass and bad shorts of the kind. They don't have the reserve power like a low impedance unit does. But smaller areas, shorter runs, & cleaner fence they'll do ok. The further the run out on the fence line usually the more gradual the voltage will fall. You usually get all the power you'll need or never quite enough. Also, parts are basically non existent for them and they have to be rebuilt on the electronics, minus the transformer, those are non existent all together. No modern parts today will make those units go unless you completely gut them unit and install brand new everything, but then it likely wouldn't be worth it and you might as well had bought a newer unit of decent quality, reliability, and repairable in the future.

@@FencerFixerRepairLLCKansasCity thank you sir. I'm using it around a chicken run. (about 250' total) all of which I can see easily, so it's working well here. I've tested it at the termination point, and wow... It's a winner for sure. Someone must have had it in storage for a long time. It is in great condition. Hope it has many years of life left.

You'll want to still keep tabs on the unit and the light. Even though it may not have much use on it, it's still 40-50 years old inside and those electronics haven't had much juice flowing through them, and they could be dried out some especially the capacitors. So just keep tabs on the unit, because if it quits randomly and you aren't aware of it, the predators might figure it out before you do. Also that unit isn't water proof, so keep it protected from the snow and rain. If you ever need a new unit, consider looking at a Power Wizard PW1500, PW2000, or PW3000
