Fencing the tuna or school of fish with a fishing net

How is purse seine fishing done? As its name indicates, supported by a boat, the school or school of fish is surrounded with a net and closed with a purse at the bottom, under water, forming a net before being lifted onto the boat.

The Official International Standards also establish the terms and conditions for fishing small pelagics, such as sardines, with vessels equipped with purse seines, in order to induce sustainable use of resources.
