I think the best is the one with maple fretboard. I really love the japanese Stratocasters

Great vid. They all sound really good. The USA and the maple neck sound pretty close, although the latter seems a hair lighter somehow. The one with the Japanese pickups definitely has a brighter, almost cleaner sound. Sweet. The other two have more warmth. Very, very nice guitars. I own an 83' Squier, 62 reissue with the US pick ups. She's gorgeous, always gets compliments and people are amazed at her tone. I'll never sell her. 😂

The JV SQ sounded better in every way to my ears. It’s funny this video was recommended just after I played (and put down a deposit) on a Fender JV Modified 60s Stratocaster MN, Olympic White. It feels and sounds incredible and the craftsmanship is the best I’ve seen. Never thought the Japanese could make such high quality Fenders Strats.

The white with rosewood is one of the best strats I've ever heard.

@@yoctanuri I like rosewood, just the side dots are practically invisible, due to Fender placing them in between the fingerboard and neck. (Nobody else does this) I had a one with a Pau Ferro finger board and it was even worse. Maple fingerboard (on a Fender Strat) is a must for me for this reason alone.

The Sq5s take it away for me how do they look from the bottom? Does they have a number on the and plastic bottom?
@yoctanuri2 жыл бұрын
Hi. I don't see any numbers on the plastic, but it does have the hole in the middle of the pickup bobbin.
