How do you like the neck and fretboard? I'm thinking about getting one, but I'm not sure a lot the maple fretboard on the SSS

@@anshubhatia6609 I like the neck and fretboard just fine. The neck is a "modern C", and it has jumbo frets. I wasn't sure about the frets but since I got the guitar I like them a lot. The neck has a very comfortable finish, IMO. I don't think you would be disappointed.

@@benfrancoeur1913 Great instrument! Loved it. I played it at a lot of family gatherings, and it traveled well, and sounded great. I traded it to help fund a Les Paul, but it is definitely a guitar I would have again in a heartbeat.

I just got the black HSS as well. The maple neck was pretty dry out of the box, but once I oiled it and threw some NY XL's on, it is damn near perfect. I also adjusted the bridge/tremelo to sit lower.

Late to the party...... I got the HSS in surf green/maple neck, and I'm very happy with it. It's a versatile guitar. I just wish I could play as well as this gent. Maybe now that I'm retired, I can put some effort into it.
