Greg is an amazing player and hysterical on top of it

Nice working that Billy Gibbons lick in there...especially considering Billy was one of Jimi's favorites. I have to say too that playing what you're playing and dancing around copyright issues is an artform in itself. Bravo, Mandokochian!

They never make a Hendrix Strat with a left handed tremolo. Curious as to why.
@pipenautica4 жыл бұрын
you are fucking insane mr greg koch the best we could have ever asked for
Those pickups are the most perfect single coil tone I've ever heard, but come on, no lefty trem?!

Does it have a “Hendrix Correct Spec” Pure nickel round core set of strings on it(.010-.038)? Or the usual bullshit .010-.046...? There were not any NPS(nickel plated steel), hex core strings in those days.
@kuitaristi30034 жыл бұрын
I was thinking same. Why not mentioning string size ever at specs list? 10-46 is okay my opinion with Hendrix models but i have Fender made 10-38 Hendrix set on my Hendrix type part strat and those are definitely set that gives you even more vibe.
@kbkman77424 жыл бұрын
If you want to nitpick... the body is the wrong way round and the logo is upside down and it's strung backward and the frets are probably too tall and it's made with more care than the CBS stuff and the pickup wire doesn't have chicken grease on it from old bill at the factory back in the day
@oe5424 жыл бұрын
As if the strings are what’s holding a person back from being Jimi. 😂

@Kenneth Liburd Jimi was actually using very dense gluten free noodles at that time. Thats how he got that spungy bell-like tone

Still trying to get rid of those left handed headstocks
@northof50now4 жыл бұрын
Yep - they look sillier and sillier each time I see one. You just have to laugh. But, again, we are the same buying public purchasing new guitars people beat to he** before delivering them. On the whole, guitar players are really not all that smart. This too shall sell.

How does the reversed headstock affect the tone?
@kenzoquiambao4 жыл бұрын
That's kind of a stupid question. 😂 But a bigger headstock might give you more sustain. But the difference is not noticeable.
@northof50now4 жыл бұрын
You, emotionally, believe you're Jimi Hendrix. As a result, you hear and feel things that are not there. You imagine the tension on the strings are different, the angle of the bridge pickup is making a difference in tone. You believe you have super "Jimmy" powers.
@liamtahaney7134 жыл бұрын
@@kenzoquiambao I have a handful of reverse headstock guitars, and even one I changed from reverse to non reverse. It actually really affects the responsiveness of the lower wound strings. They have a lot more material behind the nut obviously which, in my opinion, actually has a pretty significant affect on the tone and response.
@guitaroidman5244 жыл бұрын
We all know that wood has no effect on tone.
@kevgh38694 жыл бұрын
I'ts a dumb gimmick to make it look like a right hand guitar flipped over to be played left handed, but only in reverse in this case.

I suspect that's so they don't have to redo the tooling for the body routes.

Kenny Carlile it’s a custom shop guitar... not to mention that they use a left handed trem on the SRV signature strats so the ability to do so already exists
@jonathonrich80614 жыл бұрын
Why would Fender do this? Oh yeah, to make money. That poor strat looks confused. Just take a left handed custom shop and flip it jeez. Jimi would get a laugh out of this. There will never be another Hendrix.
@apophispnw57174 жыл бұрын
Dumbest headstock ive ever seen. The point of the reverse headstock is cheesy on a right handed guitar. Great sounding guitar though. And Greg makes it sound even better.
