A demo of the new for 2022 Fender Hammertone Reverb pedal.
This pedal includes three different reverb types; Hall, Room and Plate, alongside some other frequency controls to help sit the reverb in and out of a mix.

Great playing and demo of the reverb pedal. I’ve been using this reverb for a few months now and I am satisfied with it. I’ve had a Keeley caverns 2, Strymon flint, Mxr m300, fender marine layer and a few others. Though most of them were great I found I just like to keep it simple. So this fender hammertone reverb fit the bill perfectly for me. Like you said it can go from subtle to ambient which makes it pretty versatile. It was between this and the JHS 3 series reverb and I’m glad I picked this fender pedal. It’s not the very best reverb I’ve ever owned but it’s simple, very versatile and sounds good so I’m happy with it. Just want to say I really enjoy your videos and your playing is always great. ✌🏻

Thanks so much Andy. My action is generally as low as I can get away with. When I’m on the vintage guitars as is the case in this video it has to be a bit higher to accommodate for the rounder radius but 7.25” is still my favourite dimension despite the potential fret buzz on the big bends. @@jamesfranklandguitar Sorry, you're talking about fretboard radius! I've no idea about that, I measure mine on the 12th fret. I'm 1,5 mm (4/64") on both Es at the moment. Is that low?

@@andyglamrock No worries, yeah as the fretboard on the 7.25” radius guitars is so curved the action has to be a bit higher than the other guitars to stop buzzing when doing bigger bends, but I usually try to keep my action as low as possible. 1.5mm is pretty low too I’d say, I’ve not measured mine but I’d guess that’s about where I have the more modern guitars, 2mm on the older ones 🎸
