Boss definitely has it's standard as it is one of the pioneer maker in the industry and being affordable . But with vast competitions from the market with modern tones and easily dial in, it is just not getting that much attention in the social media, but weirdly, i still see a lot of stores carrying them( new stocks) and not so much throw out in the used market. My wild guess is a lot of people still buying them.

Reverb is a tough sell. The output buffer should be wicked unless you got a fancy extra one or two after it.. The Hardwire Reverb buffed the best so far, really, in my limited selection.... At least as good as the Strymon and Seymour Duncan stuff. The EQD Avalanche , sounded amazing but output buffering was week. (Love it though!) - Had to pull it. But I will keep it! . Seriously, It's the last thing, , Reveerrrbbbb, , - Get the one that will *quality bufferize the hell out of your paddle signal, , Rev, On OR Off. - Or, just short cable that shit. to the rig. *&^(#(@^& , Yaarrr.

Strymon just has a more natural reverb sound to my ears and so many modes and tweaks just make it the best of this group. The Avalanche was surprisingly good. The rest are meh... not sure how a reverb pedal does not have stereo outputs... makes no sense.

Is the Reflector good considering how cheap it is? I've got the money to buy a decent pedal (around £100 budget) but if this good enough i'll get it. The fender boss one sounds great also

I just bought the boss rv6, but after this video, the Marshall seems even better. Holy grail sounds beautiful but has not enough controls for my taste. You won't go wrong with any of these 3 pedals, I'm sure. You can always take it back to the store or.resell.

Those Reverbs are " Supposedly " Lexicon Reverbs - which are some of the Best Ever Created. I had a Rack Lexicon MPX-1 and it Destroyed ( both ) my Roland & Yamaha ( equally expensive ) Rack Reverb Units in the Recording Studio. This was a Great Job with the Review - but the BUZZING from that Guitar would make me Nuts. I like Every Note to Ring True.

Boss pedals sound the best. I’ve always wondered why more pedal makers don’t copy the boss switch design. I don’t like the click noise most pedals make. Unfortunately boss hasn’t been a good looking pedal since the early 90’s. They could use some sort of visual upgrades.

Ehh... Hof(&hof2) is good for doing alot of things good, but nothing great. And considering it cant do any convincing "reverse"," drip", or "infinate" reverb and all it really has going for it(aside from the tweakability of tone print, which is really cool) is a " shimmer" effect.and i, and most people after owning one for a while are starting to despise shimmer reverb in all but the minimal application, if at all.
