Sounds great, but video clearly way too short to properly explore a pedal like this. Seriously scratching my head now, as my original intention was to go with one of the Carl Martin pedals if I could find one at a reasonable price. But fender seem to have made a really nice musical pedal here, or is it simply this guys playing👍

Cost...that's the only reason. Plus, it's not really easy to do tap tempo with this delay/FX chip. You would have to add extra circuitry, an extra footswitch, etc. It isn't free. Check out the Reflecting Pool for a Delay + Reverb with tap tempo.

Just make sure you use a 9 volt power supply instead of a battery. Once I figured that out, I bought an 800ma power supply that I will use to power the delay.

Most people spending $150 for a dely pedal like to know what the maximum delay time of the unit is. Fender doesn't give that spec on their site and neither did Andy. The time knobs were almost all the way up and delay times weren't very long. No mention of a window of time on how long the battery life works. Not good. Too much sizzle and not enough steak. No sale.

I bought this pedal about s year ago... It does nothing.. except in the dry kill mode.. but then I hit the pedal and my signal goes away.. I must have got a dud..

Hoiw do you have it connected? The dry kill is for the effects loop only. If you're running in front pof the amp, the dry kill will not allow the pedal, or anything else to work right.

Molex microfit connector frequently comes loose thus no sound. Even with the proper tools it's very challenging to reconnect. Amp jewel light too bright to read the control knobs. I had to put blue tape over the light to dim it. Sounds are marginal at best. These thoughts are from someone with six Teles, two Strats and four Fender amps. I get no joy by saying this but look elsewhere for a pedal.

LOL- Read the comments, all those guys freaking out about "no stereo?" - how much you want to bet the vast majority of them no longer even play stereo rigs? They're such a freaking headache, cabling alone costs a small fortune, and if you're not a neat, industrious person with some know how when it comes to running cables and bundling them properly and all that- you're going to have a rat's nest that's near impossible to move and set back up. No one wants it on stage- trust me, your band members are going to hate you if you don't figure it out or hire someone who knows what's up to do it for you. If you're running a floor modeler- a digital rig- it's not so bad, I'm talking about the old school analogue rigs that are stereo- they're a nightmare.

Too bad there’s no tap or presets. Even external switching thru midi would help. this is a good one trick pony unless you want to break your back between every song to change settings.

Problem solved. Run it in front, not the effects loop. The loop sucks the power right out of it. Once I switched it, it's a great pedal.

Cabby Cabby Although tap tempo certainly has its place, it's not always a necessity. As matter in fact, there are a lot of situations where you can get away without the ability of tap tempo. Also, for pedal that's under $200 certain compromises are to be expected.

Worst pedal I have ever bought. For me any way, Its good if you want to sound like the Edge, its a full on dad pedal. I didnt realise the feedback was going to be so limited, I wanted the option to go to infinity. Its waaay too subtle, buyer beware.
