Fender Princeton tube guitar amplifier update grounding & variable negative bias time with Emi

Repair with Emi. This is a Mojotone kit Princeton. The builder sent it to me for installation of the fender type brass grounding plate, plus addition of variable bias. The owner is a friend of mine (Wyatt). He is a great electric guitar player. A few years back, I built him a custom Vibroverb. This kit amp was built by Wyatt. A super accomplishment for a 17 year old. The soldering looks very nice. I believe he wont need me to build future amps. To see him in action, check out his Instagram acct (Kelly-guitar11) Emi was in the shop during the repair. We had a great visit, but always too short. I was hoping to pass the D-lab torch to her, but its not in the cards. She has bigger plans. Hopefully I can get her back soon.
So, I do have a question. Why dont these kits amps have the updated variable bias incorporated?

You know Terry, a lot of us learn from you. Before you do all the "fancy extras" In this case you I don't feel you actually repaired this amp. That is certainly *not* a normal amount of hum left on that amp. I like the "extras" but the actual issue is pretty important. I agree with you on fixing things like tube sockets with carbon trails instead of cleaning because they do tend to return. How about a part 2 where we get the hum out of that amp huh?
