Alone, the Rumble 500 is 350W and 500W when you add another cabinet. Alone, the Rumble 800 is 400W and 800W when you add another cabinet. This is because each cabinet is 8 Ohms of impedance (resistance to current), and when you connect two cabinets, the amplifier sees 4 Ohms (impedance halves with two cabinets in parallel). Fender doesn't do a great job of telling us this, but in the Rumble 800 manual, specs claim 400W into 8 Ohms and 800W into 4 Ohms. The Rumble 500 is similar: 350W int 8 Ohms and 500W into 4 Ohms.

Great channel Alan! So glad you are covering the Fender 800 Stage...I own one and love it! Question(s): Fender Rumble 115 - 1x15" 300-watt Bass Cabinet OR Fender Rumble 210 2x10" 700-watt Bass Cabinet? If I understand things correctly, you need a cabinet (Fender Rumble 210) in order to get the full 800 watts out of it. I am caught between adding a little low-end to it (Fender Rumble 115) or going with the Fender Rumble 210 to get the full 800. Not sure if more low-end is added with the 210 or 115? Thoughts on what would be the "better" extension cab for the 800 Stage? Thanks!

Thanks , nice job in the video of explaining that 4/8 ohm selector switch on the back but pretty much seals the deal on purchasing the same for me. You can get a couple hundred bucks on a decent funk filter not to mention thel hassle of cables and power supplies.

Of course you don't need a Speakon adapter for a 1/4" cable because that's a 1/4" jack in the middle of the Speakon jack. It's on page 3 of the user manual.

I'm so mad. U in spired me to do what I have wanted to do for 10 years now, And that's learn to play the base. I ordered the Michelle mb100 short bass with the fender rumble and cord from guitar center. Warranty and all and they cancelled my order and put it on back order with no guarantee. I want to be able to play for my dad who just had a heart attack and part of his foot and toes amputated. I just wanna be able to do it b4 he's no longer here. He used to be in a band. I wanted him to teach me. B4 he got sick. I'm sorry for this long message I just don't know what to do now.

What I love about your videos, going through all of them being stuck at home, is the kid in you, that comes out to play when you hit that grove. Fun to watch. Watched "Fred Washinton" on Fender's web site and he demonstrated the loop effect. Do you have that on your amp? If so, can you demo for us? As always, stay safe. Keep doing whatcha doing. You and Johnny Long are my goto for Bass Funk-in Fun.

Hey Bully, have you yourself or been around someone with a rumble 800 combo stacked on top of a rumble v3 2x10 bass cab? From what I am reading it's a strong stack. Plus it would match the 800 combo identically. To me that seems like a good add on for my 800 combo. Trying to get a hands on account before I pull the trigger on this cab. Thanks
