Great video - I'm definitely interested in this for my TF bass! Question for you though - have you experimented with series/parallel wiring on the TF bass? I've seen some use a telecaster-style blade switch with a fourth position for series mode, but I'm also wondering how a Free-Way 3B3 blade switch would work - it would give you a total of 6 positions with out-of-phase options as well.

Yeah, a free way would give you more options. S/P, phase etc. Yes, played with S/P on various J basses and PJ basses as well as out of phase. Completely viable sounds if you need them in a J or a PJ.

This is exactly what I’m looking for!!! I just switched back to a passive 4 string P Bass from and Active 5 string and was looking to do something similar myself but I’d rather buy it from you than have me fail at it haha. Does the pickup matter? I’m looking to use Seymour’s Duncan quarter pounders.

As long as your pups are passive, these will work ;)

Or eBay? Which is easier/best for you?

@@kevinmcpeekjr either one is fine. Both of their rates are fluctuating right now or so I’ve heard. I put the same price for both but it’s up to them after that. Let me know;)
