Sadly...Fender doesn't make the Vintera 2 60's Stratocaster in a Left handed model... To be perfectly honest, fully half their models, only come right handed.... But they'll sell you a Right handed Jimi Hendrix(famous lefty)or Curt Cobain ( another famous lefty) signature model all damn day... 🫤 And that's my rant.

I wish Fender would give these the proper nitro finish they deserve. They had nitro as an option on the previous Classic Series, but not any more. 2 things I don't like about Fender are the thick poly finishes and the relic treatment to 98% of their Custom Shop guitars. Give me a NOS lacquer paint job like back in the good ol days!
@otaviofenderstrat42208 ай бұрын
Hi ...good idea ...BUT i not shure if today nitro is really that 50's or 60' nitro ....i had some American Vintage and the nitro on it is thicker than the real vintage guitars.

Nitro is slow to dry and take multiple coats a shrinks a lot. Much more time invested in building the guitar. Then instead of a 1150.00 guitar now you have a 1600.00 guitar. Not so attractive at that point

The price is ok. They have a thin Laquer, great an light wood, great quallity an the Pickups in this Series are great (Fender Pure Vintage Pickups). You have to play it. I tested many models from this series and i can say they are better than anything Fender Mexico has made before, also better than the roadworn series. I have the 60's Precision Bass and i love it. Only the CTS-Pots are shit but you also have this problem also with the Custom Shop Guitars. Best regards from Germany😊

I've played a couple of these recently. The Vintera II 60's and the AV II 61 have an identical neck feel, are both made well, and have great sound. So does the nitro paint on the AV II and darker fret markers justify double the price of the Vintera II's?

2nd hand USA Standard for cheaper
@federicoresendiz36176 ай бұрын
@@teodelnorte Fender’s MIM “upsell” models like the Player Plus and Vinteras are basically what used to be American guitars by spec, with the offshoring of labor to keep the prices where they used to be for the base American models. As long as the old American base models are available second hand they’ll be great deals. But overtime they’ll all increase in price and we may not see guitars at this quality level below the $1000 mark in ten years with raw material inflation going the way it’s going.

Man I'm so tired of seeing so many stupid people flooding the Earth. If you don't know the difference in quality between previously made guitars and currently produced guitars, that's your own ignorance. If you had any idea what you were talking about, you would be fully aware that MIM guitars are only far better than what they used to be. Stay out of comment sections until you actually know the topic you're about to comment on. FFS.
