I agree. Your 996 looks incredible. When the camera catches the light properly, you get to see the true color of the yellow paint and it’s beautiful. The black wheels, tires and side skirts really compliment it. I can tell you’re proud of it and you should be.

Before I forget, just a recomendation. Get Paint protection film up front AND ceramic coating on the rear. Since the paint is new, this will make it last for many years and keep the brand new look.

Instead of just removing the tint from the taillights, why not upgrade them to LEDs. Good sets are only a few hundred bucks and would make a huge difference in the appearance and performance of the lights

Should have two fans on the rear deck lid as well as a gasket for your stock airbox, also that red filter from fab speed should fit in the oem box

Also pro tip: before you crack the new sill covers (skirts or whatever) with the jack, get jack pads or buy some hockey pucks and 3D-print the simple holders to screw in the pucks.

@@matt13ross it looks like the cover under the trunk is GT2 specifik, but the tube 996 110 141 71 looks like to be the same on the Turbo. But I can not se in the video if you have the ring that connects the tube to the cover, it can be that you also need 996 512 334 00/01 wich it GT2 specific.

You’ve done great with your car. It looks way better with the gt2 front bumper cover and rear deck/wing. My exterior is set-up the same, plus gt2 side skirts from Precision Porsche. But mine is Guards Red over Savannah Beige. These are easy cars to fall in love with. And those stock air boxes are hard to find. Ask me how I know ;) Great vids!

Coming along nicely! Regarding your passenger power window issue, have you tried replacing the relay? If the car uses 2 relays (1 for each door) try swapping to see if the problem follows the relay. Seems you have replaced everything else in the chain, but thought the relay could have intermittent failure.

When you work on the tail lights, I'd love to see if you can find a way to fix the cracks in them that plague the 996 cars. They are stress crack that "appear" on the top of the lenses over time and I have them too.
