how can a 500hp tractor put 500 to the ground? not a single tractor puts all its hp down to ground stay realistic even a case 620 quadtrac 'only' puts 560hp down, and that has almost 700hp (aka, 'only' 81% from engine => drawbar) . the fendt for being 500hp putting over 400hp down, its actually REALLY impressive (the CVT literally BEATS powershifts...., just saying) @foci RS, i do watch mike, he just seems to be surprised the fendt cant pull it, no surprise really. its not fair to compare 500hp + 48000lbs + dual wheels vs 670hp + 4 tracks + 65000lbs. hmmm, 170HP and f*cking 17000lbs (= 7700kg) difference and it doesnt pull as good, i wonder why... tho granted, the 9620RX are pulling slightly bigger drills. so lets compare 1050 to something that pulls same implement, being the 9560RT. 9560RT: 59100lbs + 560hp + 2 x 3m tracks 1050: 48000lbs + 510hp + dual wheels again, 11000!!!!!!!!!! lbs difference and 50hp.... so hmm, i like mike his videos, but he seems to forget this. not to mention that bourgault lists those drills with a requirement of MINIMUM 500hp to just be able to move.. that say enough...

Also ich repariere Fendt Traktoren in einer Werkstatt. Muss sagen das die Schlepper immer noch in De entwickelt und gebaut werden, die Kabinen extra irgendwo in Bayern und zusammen gesetzt, dan in Marktoberdorf. Nur die Mähdrescher Ideal Reihe wurde wohl in Italien entwickelt und auch gebaut, bei der Entwicklung bin ich mir nicht sicher, hab ich nur Mal gehört. Die MT Reihe oder auch Raupen genannt wurden dagegen in den USA entwickelt und werden dort auch gebaut, basierend auf den Challenger MT Reihe. Ja man kann sagen, schade das Fendt kein deutsches Unternehmen mehr ist, andererseits hat Fendt unter Agco einen breiteren finanziellen Spielraum für Weiterentwicklung von verschiedenen Technologien. Und natürlich auch den Zugang zum Siso-Motor von Valtra, welches ja auch zu Agco gehört, und die Motoren sind auf jeden Fall viel besser und effizienter als die Deutz- Motoren. Ist meine persönliche Meinung.

Deere is lobbying all across the country for state legislatures to pass laws that takes away a farmers right to repair their own product that they purchased. And no it is not just the software. That is a lie Deere is using to mislead people. Deere is showing up at right to repair hearings, along with Apple, to oppose 3rd party electronic repair shops fixing consumers products such as cell phones and computers. Why is Deere telling politicians a repair shop should not be legally allowed to replace a screen on a cell phone. Or that a consumer who owns that phone should not be allowed to buy a cell phone screen and replace it themselves? Deere's aim is to force you and I to use their in network repair shops at their established prices.

Very disappointed over the new gen 1000 serie's cab.. I was hoping to see a cab like the new gen 6, 700 serie's. And again.. You have still not fixed so the seat can turn around without hitting the window. Its a 2/10 from me. The cab is so disappointing.

cause fendt one design is a prototype, its still in design, they put it on their most popular series (which is the 700) to see how people react to it. if the reviews are good enough, expect it to be transferred over to 900 / 1000 too.

@@Matt___B which makes the specification ridiculous. If a 470hp tractor puts 420hp to the ground because of transmission design and weight distribution, and a different 500hp tractor only puts 400hp down to the ground then using engine horsepower as a specification is pointless.

@@jeffjefferson3364 and thats where your wrong, there is not a single conventional tractor which puts 420hp down . there are literally 0!!! tractors with 500hp engine that come anywhere near to a 1050. The 9470RX is the closest with 520hp engine and 405hp down, still loses to 1050 by 4%... (4% might not sound like a lot, but it actually is, especially considering the fendt does EVERYTHING better then the jd, not just pulling but comfort fuel, lights its beats the deere) at max power down (for both machines) the 1050 pulls ahead with 10.5% less fuel, or 6.5% less fuel at same drawbar power. thats a BIG difference. the 1050 is the best in its class in both engine hp and hp down and only does about 425 down. even the 8400R, which is the 2nd biggest in the conventional class tractors puts only 320hp down (only a 15% lower engine power, yet freaking 33% behind in drawbar power). even a 1038 with 400hp does just as well as a 8400R with 450hp. the 1050 just doesnt have the weight, thats the problem.

1050 is in no way 500 hp to the ground. Steiger 500 walked all over it during my demo. Also 220 gal. is not big enough for a full day. Nice job copying Deere on the infotainment though. Now put HVAC and all other tractor functions on the terminal as well. There is no need for a front dash in today’s tractors.

how can a 500hp tractor put 500 to the ground? not a single tractor puts all its hp down to ground stay realistic well ye, the steiger 550 is also about 3 tons (= 6600lbs) heavier and the design is different, one is convetional other is articulated, those are 2 totally different classes. and yes 220 gal is to small, true. but thats the downside of a conventional tractor, there isnt much more space to increase tank size without increasing the tractor dimension which will give them problems with the european laws (which is the market the 1000 series is mainly aimed at).

@@Matt___B i know it's just designed to compete with the quadtracs and rxs, i think it should be compared with a 8400r , this is just not designed for competing against quadtracs on huge American flat grounds. The more horsepower is to pull some huge silage/grain trailer in narrow European roads without being too big. But some people watching Mike, are comparing it to articulated case and John Deere.

@@NoobOnFarm everyone who compares a 500hp tractors to 670+hp Trac tractors that weigh a shit ton more than it, like Mike did, and complain it doesn't pull as hard, is an idiot. The fact that the 1000 series is the most efficient in the world in the top class as to what percentage of its power it actually brings to the ground with a fairly big gap ahead of the likes of the quadtrac and the 9rx's and so on should give an idea as to how capable it is. And then the fact that it does actually pull drills the biggest quadtracs and 9rx series money can buy, which are a lot more expensive, also pull, just slightly slower uphill, is a testimony to its strength. And then people have to keep in mind that it does all that while having the typical Fendt luxurys of comfort, speed and ease of use, which is, if we're honest, unrivaled within the big brands. I don't see a reason for anyone to complain about it In my opinion Fendt wins pretty much every level for wheeled tractors from the 300 series to the big 1000's, even though I like the 8400 series as well as the very small deeres, but they all have something that makes them subjectively worse than their Fendt counterpart.
