One of the best videos of the new Fendt 1100-series I've seen so far. No talking, no annoying music, just the ambient sounds. Even the ground conditions were perfect: not muddy yet very little dust kicked up. By the way, this tractor appears to be a wide-axle version with 36" tracks on it, making the overall width around 142" (or maybe a bit wider, depending on gauge setting). I think the number you posted is for the short-axle European-spec version. Regardless, thanks for posting a great video!

Thanx - I usually take specs off a brochure so you're likely right on the tracks - I think I ended up on the EURO brochure. I stand corrected!

Where is this at? Where is the equipment from? With hp like that it should be able to pull two of them right?
@sprayguy93 жыл бұрын
The demo equipment supplied by AGCO/FENDT/VERSATILE/GLEANER dealer in Morden, Manitoba. The location was at Twin Elm Farms at Elm Creek, MB

This 40 ft disk was all it could handle. The point of a vertical tiller is a little depth and as much speed as possible. This unit was working to a 4 to 5 inch depth and he had the cruise set to 9 MPH and the tractor was getting to 8 MPH for the most part. Remember this field was alfalfa breaking so hadn't been worked for about 5 years and was hard. It was a good load.

Those disks require a lot of HP mainly just because they need to be pulled at a high speed to function properly. That's why the biggest disks like this you'll see max out at 40' while a standard field cultivator can be up to 80'.

Is the disc supposed to jump about like a demented kangaroo?
@peterloewen32012 жыл бұрын
They're working ground that's been in alfalfa for at least 5 years so it's pretty hard and it's a heavy clay soil type. Also, they're travelling at over 8 mph, so I'll say that yes it will jump around

Would you like it better if they had the Challenger yellow version? They make both Fendt and Challenger versions down the same assembly line, but it seems that the Fendt branding is being promoted harder right now.
