FenFab charge pipe w/stock BOV install on 2021 - 2022 Explorer ST

Just the first step to adding go fast parts to the ST. The FENFABrication charge pipe is the way to go. Much smoother flow of air and a bit of a larger pipe than stock. Making it easier for the charge air to enter the engine after leaving the intercooler. Install wasn't bad at all either.

Very easy install. Is yours the single turbo 4 or the twin turbo v6? What difference have you noticed since the install?

The ST is the 3.0 twin turbo V6

Does the 2022 have the 2 bolt rear diff plate cover mounting setup with 2 bolts like 2020? They went to a 1 bolt for 2021. Wondering if they reverted back to the 2 bolt design for 2022?

Nope they didn’t revert back. 2022 has the single bolt in the rear of the diff.

Is this a 2022 model? If it is where is the factory BOV

No BOV on 2022 and up. Ford uses some complex recirculation thing they do with the throttle body to use the excessive pressure. Kind of sucks because it makes it hang when you let off the gas for a couple seconds as it uses the excess pressure instead of expelling it from the system.

You’re not gonna find any seat of the pants power difference by something like this, but smoothing out the flow and getting rid of those crazy bins for a clean open pipe with direct airflow helps nonetheless.
