FENIX Block 2 - Connecting the external EFB/MCDU

Just be aware that to use an iPad as your MCDU it has to have IOS 16.2 or later installed, my old iPad mini with IOS 12.5.7 works as the EFB but not as the MCDU. According to Fenix any Android device will work for both.

Yep….had to buy a newer ipad to use for mcdu. Used my older one for the efb, but wont run the mcdu

On my ipad does not work: I'm able to open and use the EFB but when I click on MCDU nothing happens. Strange since on my iphone it works perfectly, but not very usable.

Could have to do with the IOS in the iPad. A minimum iOS version of iOS 16.2 is required to use the Web MCDU.

Hi. Could be since you need to be above a certain IOS version for this to work correctly.

Hi. I was using a tool called FSiPanel. That is a separate fantastic program which offers a lot of options to manage/practice failures.
