Yeah Lamprey for me is my fav bait with Mackerel and I'm doing ok with smelt. Hard to find Lamprey now and it's so over priced . Back out tomorrow lol.👍🎣🎣🎣

And Away,I think all anglers have been watching Bob and Paul's angling show,at least you caught in the end mate, when we were Teenagers YEARS ago we could go picking on an old estate lake and it were full of Jacks and they used be striking at the roach like on your film all morning ,we could not catch em on anything but Lures, and you can't beat the liver bacon and onions eh mate these young guns won't eat it. It's left to us oldies eh,enjoy your pint or two graham ,tite lines.

any info on day stretches ive never tried the drains

Just get yourself down to the Drains there are lots of drains to choose from. Just start fishing and the local bailiff will come round and you can buy a day ticket. (As long as you have a fishing licence)if you intend to fish the drains a lot it's best to buy the book works out cheaper. Where I tend to fish most is Whittlesey, Ramsey, and March waters.

Had this on a session and couldn’t get a bite on dead’s. Put a live bait on which went the moment it was in the water
