Lamprey saves the day

Lamprey is a great bait and tough. To be fair on the stretch I fish they have ignored Lamprey and gone for Mackerel. Good video mate I hope you get rid of that cold

@@luke_angling I love fishing with Lamprey but getting hold of it is not easy. The mackerel tail has got to be the bait I have used the most but it is easy to get hold of . But I have been using a lot of smelt just lately. I suppose if a bait is used a lot on a stretch of water the pike mite start to ignore it???. Let's hope they don't start ignoring my Lamprey it costs too much lol 😆 😆😆. Cheers 👍🎣🎣🎣

@grahamrobinson6455 it does cost a lot so I wrap it with elastic and one piece last ages. Never known something to hold so much blood ha ha. I have been having fish on sardines as well and they cheap but quite soft.

It's nice to get out and not blanking is a bonus this season (well done!). I had a run of 5 blanks which ended Monday with a double (10lb10oz) and today a jack (7lb13oz) and well pleased. Fishing is about making the most of the time you can go fishing. Nice video tight lines.
