Funny, I never even stopped to think about why we divide time like we do.

Well the 60 minute hour is so entrenched into our culture that EVERYWHERE in the world uses it. You would have to convince every culture, rewrite tons of programming scripts for things like automatic scheduling, alter everyone's future reservations and such for this change. It's become practically unfeasible to change it.

There have been a number of other attempts to change numerical systems. A lot of people in the past have tried to change our number system to base-12 rather than base-10 because it makes taking things like quarters and thirds of numbers significantly more straightforward. But practically everyone has used base-10 for pretty much all of recorded history and it was too much effort to bother changing. I appreciate these "fun fact" type shorts. Keep it up.

I remember reading about France trying to do 10 hour days, it was in order to be secular, 10 hour days would make it hard to keep track of sunday which would hinder Christianity.

More people need to be spreading around intelligible information in bite-size bits for everyone to consume no matter how spastic or dense one might be easy to absorb info that actually broadens your horizon instead of closing your mind.

Got to say.. first time seeing this girl. 1. The model is clean. 2. The voice is nice and audio sound. 3. The mouth move decently. Upvote for sure.. quite a lot of Vtubers (even big ones) have just bad mouth-voice movements... and that gets me annoyed so this is noice.
