Hey, i am kilian from these games. Spoilers ahead: I realized that deck out way too late so i had to go for gato kill there, otherwise any magnaangemon ace that recovers and negative dp my takemi could have get him into his turn. With the angewomon ace overflow i wouldnt have gotten the unsuspend lvl5 inherit, so i had to go with gato anyways. But it was a good game and i was way too lucky g1 with that takemi top deck xD

I think Francy forgot to recover with Angewomon ACE during game 2, which would have let him hang in there more i think

13:14 You cant scramble into Takemikazuchi, the lvl3 would have no bowmon underneath to do the whole trash-evo chain. Unless im missing something which i’d actually like to be.

There are a few funky ways to make it work. Promo Dracmon being the easiest method to make it happen. Easy method: Start of turn, scramble into Drac, on play to evo into Loogar, then trigger cracker fang to go to 3 memory. Then mind link, evo into sol. You can either hard evo into Fenri or if you revive a champion you can evo that into helloo to evo into fenri from trash at end of turn timing.

@@nuttherbutter4075but nothing doable without running unoptimal pieces. Running dracmons or that other helloogar is just taking out of your better lvl3s and lvl5s, so the value of scrambles to climb right back into takemi consistently is not really there imho

@@francosalazar6305 I never said it was optimal. That being said I have been running the pure Loogar variant and it's felt much better for me. I also play Dorugora so I don't want to play the Doru package for flavor reasons lol

@@nuttherbutter4075i’m totally with you with loogar variant lol. I absolutely love dorumon but I just like having lines be thematically consistent, plus championship loogar alts are too pretty not to play them. Same reasin why i rather play black base dorugora instead of looga base in there. But well, i also don’t think loogar instead of doruga is SO unoptimal, but i might be biased haha. I’ll just use this moment of speaking thematic lines to also express my dissappointment with the new ouryuken reveals that pivot doru into the raptordramon/grademon line. I KNOW its the canon adequate line according to chronicle but I love the doru line jnto alphamon so much due to X-Evolution and I dislike grademon’s design SO much. Sad that it seems like i’ll never get to play a viable alphamon with the line i prefer ever again 🥲

@francosalazar6305 Oh dude Dorumon got me into the franchise. I went a little crazy buying multiple playsets of alts for both Alpha and Dorugora lol. Here's hoping that the new Ouryuken playstyle doesn't dilute it into DNA turbo. One of my big concerns atm. I actually really like Grademon. He was an absolute beast in my Cyber Sleuth playthrough. Going back to the Chronicle stuff is a nice change of pace imo. As much as I love the Doruga line, they have been the only functional base for Alpha for too long. It'll be a nice way to help differentiate builds between Alphamon and Dorugora decks.

Descent is not worth the cost. It's typically a dead card most match ups too. Kudos to Francy for being innovative still.

Yeah cause angels isn't just as degenerate, if it weren't for bowmon that was an easy 2-0 for angels Stop pretending every meta deck isn't busted af in some way

To be fair Take at least is a paper stack, but seriously even without bowmon takemikazuchi can win easily. And yeah it's busted, to deal with him you have to either have an immune big digimon(usually magna 16 dp at least) or faster(not possible against a 2 turn deck).
