I have the dv8 tire carrier and my LP is centered on it. This would be ideal as a backup camera for my Jeep!!

Being off center is not awesome, bit it is still a better view to the rear than not having a backup camera so super helpful.

Looks pretty cool. As always great content. Side note I installed my seicane works great other than if I'm constantly using my phone's hotspot to it it starts to overheat and it'll freeze. Other than that though it works amazing.

I added a wired backup cam on my JK and I have to say it does make certain parking way easier. I would prefer something like this be able to go to a rear view mirror or a head unit with a display just because I don't like the idea of using my phone for it. I too need to add a backup camera to my son's car, this may be worth a look.

Like the idea of wireless, would love to see if I can solve a few of the issues. Plate holder with 2 left side screws needs to be looked at on the JK. Looks like the owner’s manual says to press between the 2 grid lines and move then, so at least they know they need to solve this issue even if there is a current software bug. Manual also say the camera could turn off after 120 seconds to save battery

On many JK's the plate bolts through the left side of the plate. Since the mounting holes are on the top of this product, there would only be one bolt (upper left) holding it on these vehicles. Check your Jeep before buying this one.

Great concept. Unfortunately, don’t think I can utilize with my JK as besides the license plate being offset as mentioned in the video, the OEM license plate frame uses upper and lower screws on the left and only a locator pin on the right so I don’t think the camera would be secure. However, this might prove a good deal for use on my daily driver Miata.

How long does the camera stay active after it's turned on? I think it could be helpful if you have an oversize spare tire.

So far it seems to stay on until you turn off the app. I wouldn't leave it on long though since it's battery powered.

When I was in the States, I was stopped by the Police, because the plateholder didn't showed the whole plate, as you have the camera layed over the letter in the middle (between 5 and 21), is this allowed or "illegal"?

Looks like it has potential, but having to get you phone automatically hooked up to camera when you get in car and unlock your phone seems like a hassle. A dedicated wireless screen for camera would be better.
