I see a trend: diagnosed as adhd, prescription, self prescribe, hard drugs, fentanyl, then death. My question is: why in america so many kids have been diagnosed as adhd and prescribed medicine? Are they really adhd or they are pulled in to be big pharma's profit stream?

@@Aperson-f2e Finally... a person that is on the right track and asking the right questions. Since the explosion of Psychiatric doctors there has been a need for "patients". This is no difference from the explosion of new prisons being built, they must be occupied and thus, they will find a way to fill them. Every notice how every family has a special needs or autistic child these days when that was not the case 30 years ago? The food and medicine are the main physical root causes. This bigger issue is the spiritual component. Most people can never fathom that mass death is necessary for those in power to maintain their control over society. Sacrifice is what keeps their structure intact. Living souls are the energy and strength in the spirit realm to push things forward. I pray more people's eyes are opened to what is really happening.

Also the wish to take him to jail is understandable, but if they did informed themselves, they would find out that jail time isn’t working at all to get better or even clean - and this is known since decades now!! I really don’t want to judge this mum - how should she know how to deal with that, and her loss is so immense and horrible, but I just want to say it… - maybe for other mums🙏 I was once that kid too- so I know… Kids NEED to know that their home is ALWAYS a place to go for, the very last one, to hide there if needed, to be safe! I’m so sorry for his loss, he was another great kid who got a victim of this unbelievable tragedy and cruel epidemic…😰

Why do people find it so normal that their kids smoke marihuana? It’s like a red line in almost every story encountered here. Marihuana is always the precursor for “trying out” pills later. Parents, you must stop underestimating marihuana. Our kids need way more guidance!

And stop being a friend to your child, be a parent. You are not supposed to be the "cool paren", you're supposed to make boundaries and guide your kids I wouldn't have let my minor 15yo child get off the medication he needed by himself and "respected his decision ". 15yo is too young to make that decision. It was obvious him stopping (without consulting a doctor) the ADHD -medication put him in a downward spiral. And no, I wouldn't have tolerated my minor kid "doing his weed". And I didn't. There was no choice "do your dope earlier". No. It was no drugs. Period. Maybe I'm strict with my drug testing. He got caught and after that I started making random drug tests. Yes, made him piss in a cup while watching and doing drug tests. It worked. As he got to the adult age he had grown some sense in his head. The experimenting was cut short and being strict gave him time to grow mentally to understand that there is nothing cool in doing drugs. I'm not a perfect parent. Not even near. We all make mistakes as parents But this was my reaction to the "experimenting phase" and it worked. (I'm sure it won't work for everyone. Especially if the kid gets caught as he/she has already created an addiction).

Yea I don’t understand when weed stopped being a drug., and it became socially acceptable to be a pothead - because some politician said it’s okay as long we can tax it (??) WTF! The feeling of getting high does not ever stop at weed. It always moves to other drugs. WBTW, the legal stuff bought today is 20x THC levels than the cheap street stuff from the 70/80s….meaning it’s frying your kids brain…so even if they kick the habit, the damage is done. Stop listening to other people convince you what you know is wrong, is okay. And start holding politicians accountable for these deaths. Drugs went from being bad to being cool and the fentynal is getting here under their watch. Make them legally accountable.

I’m also sorry to say that he had probably been taking pills longer than you’ve found out. That’s so terrible, how his friend left him! A mother should never have to go through this. He could have robbed him and saved his life, honestly. The police aren’t there to arrest someone if it’s a Good Samaritan call, trying to save someone, where I live, but maybe not where they live, or the kid didn’t know. I imagine he will regret his actions, for a long time, if not forever, if he has any conscience at all, and most of us do. This is so tragic, for all affected. I hope we find better treatments for substance use disorders, if not a cure! I’m so sorry for this mother’s loss! 💔.
