At 12:10, you are talking about the 8 button switch. I think I would use some 2 part epoxy to attach it to the textured plastic after you drill the hole for the cable.
@Fentertainment8 ай бұрын
Only problem is if you ever to remove it then it’s stuck. I think the bracket I made with the double sided tape is the ticket.

Video time @13:15. Interested in the NO CO EZGO adapter plate you made. I could use one if available from you or some other source. Also just added a BigBattery Falcon Elite 48v to my Ezgo 2018 48v golf cart. According to tech support at BigBattery I have to leave the charging port wired into the bus bars to get the cart to work and it does. My problem is moving the old charging port inside the cart and adding a NoCo GCP1 port in its place. I need to cover the old opening with something like you made.

If you have the D shape plug then the one I made is in the video description with link. If your plug is the triangle one then this one won’t work but I will have those soon.

I have a 48v 2012 Club Car and I replaced the batteries for one 48v lithium, it won’t run. Does Club Car also have this reed switch or am I missing 12v to the key switch? I don’t have DC to DC converter do I need one for the key switch and F&R ? Would really appreciate your help with this.

As usual, great video. I love how you'll show the good, bad, and ugly of fixing up golf carts on KZbin. You keep it real world and legit. It's my understanding that true OEM MCOR 4's aren't actually being made anymore and haven't been for some years. If you find an "OEM" MCOR 4 and read the fine print on the website listing it almost always says something like "Made to OEM standards". Is it a better MCOR than the 10LOL Chinese brand on Amazon? Probably. But we shouldn't have to pay OEM prices for something that isn't actually OEM. Personally, I replaced my OEM MCOR 4 with the 10LOL brand MCOR on my golf course sourced Precedent over 3 years ago and it's still going strong. Even if it turns out to be something I have to replace every 3-4 years, I can do that over 15 years before I get to the equivalent price of one of these (non) OEM MCOR 4's. I probably won't even have this cart in 15 years. Exactly what you encountered with UNO battery is why I don't have a Lithium battery in my cart. That 5, 6, 8, etc. year warranty that all these companies are advertising is only good if the company remains in business. When you have manufacturers like Uno, Extreme Team, etc. just abruptly go under, abandoning all their customers and warranties on their products, that quickly makes Lithium not a good upgrade.

Ugh.. sorry on the battery. Reminded me I need to re-rivet my track roof too. All that noise drives me crazy. I have rubber on all the mounts but yeah.. rattles at those rivets.

I also had a UNO in my Yamaha drive 2. My friend bought his first and I installed it for him. Than another friend also bought one and I installed his. I got jealous and bought one for myself. They were very expensive also . Long story short UNO replaced all three because of issues we had. They were great about it but I began to worry because 3 for 3 aren’t good odds. Then we found out they went out of business and I was getting about 12 miles or so and had to recharge the battery. I wound up putting it in a DS that I flipped while it was still working. I bought a 48 v 105 ah Varner after watching your video and love it. I could get between 40 -50 miles on a charge if I pushed it. Love the gauge also and it was a $1000 cheaper than what I paid for the UNO. My friends still have theirs but at least I can give them options when the UNO quits thanks to you. Why don’t you throw a Big Battery in there, I saw you had a bunch of them in your garage. Varner’s are a a little big.

I’m going to open this one up soon. Probably will be on camera. Maybe we can see what failed and maybe fix it. I have the big batteries for some else. 2 are 72v that will probably live in my gem. 2 48v will go into a different cart.

I'm in the same boat with my lithium battery. It's Extreme Team that I bought a couple years ago. They since went out of business. I'm riding it out as long as i can..... I have the same roof, I drilled out the rivets and used 4mm Phillips head screws (will have to recheck size, this was over a year ago) with rubber washers. No more noise!
@Fentertainment8 ай бұрын
I was thinking of doing the same thing as those rivets get loose and just squeak!
@markpyskadlo75768 ай бұрын
I have an Extreme Team lithium battery, too. They sent the "indoor" charger with it instead of the onboard outdoor charger. When I contacted them to have them send the onboard charger I ordered (and paid for), wasn't able to get anyone to respond. Company went out of business, but battery still working 3 years later. Others who purchased Extreme Team haven't been so lucky.

@markpyskadlo7576 I've heard the stories and am planning on biting a new bms for when mine fails. I had my original onboard charger fail about a year ago and bought a really good one through a solar company. Had to change the charge port to a 115v plug but it's been solid. I can look up that info for u if ur interested.

Hey Ryan, not related to this vid. But do you know how to install one of the dash kits onto the precedent after the tempo conversion? The under body cowl is different than the precedent where the brow installs, not allowing my my previous dash kit to be reinstalled. I have one of those carbon fiber basic dash kits with the 3 doors on it. Just wondering if you ran across this or heard of this problem? Thx!

I had the same speakers as yours arrive yesterday, one of them was broken, the plastic around the screw that holds the magnet broke away, during shipping I'd assume. You can take the grills off, It's not really easy, but can be done, I'll have to solder the tweeter wires back on when I refit them. I'm paining mine black ATM. Just finished doing the first coat. I pulled the grill off the first speaker that i pulled out of the box, so couldn't return them after finding out the other speaker was broken, so just ordered another pair.

Hey Ryan, I’m looking for an electric cart with utility bed on back to use around small farm. What brand do you recommend. Would you recommend new or used?

How about using your conventional car battery charger to see if you can give the UNO battery a small charge? It seems like if the battery is too low on voltage that the lithium charger wont power up. You say your not upset. I would be upset just because of the amount of money that it takes to replace it. I hope that there ends up being a business that can rebuild lithium batteries by replacing the bad cells and making them work with the remaining cells, and also able to repair or replace the BMS. Lithium batteries cant be so unique. They had to buy the individual parts from somebody in order to put it together. That has to be cheaper than buying a whole new battery and putting the UNO battery out for recycle pickup.
