Very helpful! Thank you. Just purchased and installed. Yet not going as swimingly as expected on my EZ GO TXT. Haven't installed the converter yet but the relay physically switches when i turn on the lights but no lights come on and when I turn the key to the on position, nothing happens either. I labelled all the positive and negative wires before removing the lead acid batteries. All are connected properly. I feel like it's something simple but can't seem to figure it out.

Turns out it was the reed switch cable that runs to the FNR that needs to be run directly to the battery. Just thought I'd share for anyone else that may run into a similar situation.

Thanks for the video, great review for those just looking for a good basic upgrade. Can't believe your dad doesn't have a more upgraded cart. 18 mph scares me unless it's staying in a community. I wouldn't take it on a 35 mph road....

Yeah, I just don’t have a g29 to make an adapter plate. Wish I did.

Good review or test on the battery. Wondering how much air your dad is running in his tires. Just put the same 14" rims and 23" tires on my club car onward. Trying to pinpoint the best air pressure to run. They came with 28 I'm down to 20 and it rides better. I don't have the weight of the back seat on mine. Thanks for what you do.

Just wondering how you bypass the reed switch to change the charging plug. I’ve had problems with ezgo so I leave the old charging plug wired in even though We won’t use it anymore. 30 plus miles on a charge is great , thanks again for sharing your knowledge.

I second this question. I have a 2009 EZGO and am wandering if I remove the charging port if I will need to do something with the wire to the reed switch. Any advice?

@@evanhergott4435 they have a few videos out on how too that I found. Pretty easy , just have to bypass the reed switch. The white wire that comes out of the charging plug with the positive and negative wire. Google it and you’ll find one.

The gator isnt actually a 36v battery but more of a 41 42 volt. Its also rated at a higher Amp Hour Capacity than this one. However the gator is much longer than this battery. Both are good, but for the room I would say the vatrer.

Either is a good battery. The falcon is 60ah and the vatrer is 100ah. Check out the husky2 for comparisons to the vatrer 48. I have one that I just got and plan to do a video of it soon.

I just got an easy go cat like this one, I ordered a 48 volt battery. Will that work or do I need to send it back and get a 38v instead?

The 48v will work if the controller is equipped to handle 48v. If so then you will need a new solenoid as well. But I would make sure before you get it because some 36v carts controllers will only work on 36v.

I noticed in the section showing the app that the temperatures were shown in degrees F. On mine they are showing in degrees C and there doesn't appear anyway to change that setting. How did you change that?

If that range test was the first time the battery was discharged and charged, the gauge may not be calibrated super well. But the next charge after this it should be.

First off I like your videos and thanks for the coupon code, I installed the Vatrer 36v in my ezgo Txt runs good for 30 mins then it starts losing current but the voltage is still good, I’ve changed the solenoid and controller but it still does it, I have to cut it off for 5 minutes and it will go again, do you know what could be wrong? And help would be appreciated

Would you by chance have a USA based telephone number for a warehouse or office for this battery company here in the US ? I've tried for two days to contact them by email and a number I found somewhere but no luck. I'd like to speak to someone here in America regarding warranty & service if ever required. Epoch has a US based warehouse here in Georgia and I spoke to them yesterday. I just may have to go with the Epoch 36 Volt but I really liked the Vatrer 36 Volt battery you tested. Thanks for any assistance. Mike C
