I measured my face and I need 1/7 of a tsp (approx, since tsp is volume and coverage is measured by weight so you need less of dense sunscreens and more of liquidy ones) to get proper coverage. The 1/4 tsp is for the upper 95th percentile of mens faces - which is very generous! I think for many people with smaller faces it may make most sunscreens unwearable at that quantity. Fenty also came out with a tinted range of their mineral sunscreen recently.

Yes I cannot absorb that onto my face. I have tried with numerous sunscreens and it’s an amount that won’t go anywhere except on top of it in a sticky glob

I like that pinky tone on you. It's cool and seems to match your undertone. I'm cool toned as well and some tinted mineral sunscreens are too warm for me.

Regular hydrovisor is very glowy/oily too. I would only use it in cold, dry weather.

This one was glowy but also somehow dried my skin out. Which is a shame because I loved it! The chemical one is much more hydrating. This one I think would be better for normal/oily skin. The tinted one is awful though if you apply enough. It is very clear she designed that one to be more of a skin tint with spf, not a tinted sunscreen, which is sad. The scent she uses in the sunscreens is also divine imho, it's a fruity tropical floraly scent. According to the website, the fragrance is "floral with desert melon". They do make it in unscented but I love the fragrance, personally. I think the scent of the zinc is interfering with it because the mineral one doesn't smell the same as the chemical one. It smells more earthy to me.
