I like the idea of the tech, but Scopely seems to be slowing down the free-to-play paths on almost everything. The Talios was awesome. Then, eh, we had the drips for the Titan and Voyager. And now the Monovene is not really available to everyone. So, to Bubba Joe, 'when' does it get better for free-to-play because I cannot agree that Scopely's track record is improving. Free-to-play is being left behind more with each new pay-wall. At least, that's how it feels.

There NEEDS to be a way for free to play to grind the whip. They are being cut off from a huge segment of the game. Add it to event stores even. Anything.

The first barrier which nothing has yet addressed for F2P is the building upgrade cost. 75 per day is a horrible payout, and everything in the refineries are building locked. And the protomatter to emblem is a horrible conversion rate... If I used all of my protomatter on the trade, it would be 8 days worth of daily pulls for 100 emblems of assesment. And I would not be able to upgrade any FT because it was used on the building. 15 days per building level at my current rate. so 4 more months to get to level 25... what a joke.

I have not engaged FT much. My whip refinery only has fragments. I would guess its based on the building lvl as I am ops 54
