Lost respect for him after his interview with Talksports. He defended Ole with reasons which could very well be applied to Ten Hag, yet he said Ten Hag doesn’t merit a second chance. At the beginning of Solskjaers run, they had a bigger rotation of the squad and everybody got a chance. The moment Ole got the full time job, the rotation was shortened and the players looked a little tired or burned out at the end.

We’ve spent about £100M less than City. They spent it over 16 years from 2008. About 90% of ours was spent after Fergie retired. If he had been physically able to keep going for another ten years that would have been more than enough to allow us to compete with anyone.
