We're a small family farm in the Florida Panhandle. After relocating back home from the Middle East we wanted to build up the most self- sufficient lifestyle possible with our kids, in order to grow as much of our own food as possible. I will revisit this video when my elderberries flower! I planted a row of 5 along my front chicken fence to beautify the view. I used to have ten plants but took them all out as they were getting broken where I had them. So 5 years later I'm starting over. Thanks!

I used 2 cups of water with 2 cups sugar plus 2 tbsp citric acid. Dissolve and let cool, the pour over the flowers, add citrus slices and a fermenting weight, and off you go

I have about 20 elderberry cuttings that I got from a dear friend. They are all in pots and sprouting! Will get them in the ground this spring and hopefully will have a big patch of elderberries in a couple of years!!
