Hello professor May I ask about the step function at 5:56 from your video lecture At T=0 We see the step function My question at E = Ef What value we consider F(FD) is could we consider F(FD) equal to zero or 1 for example Or the function only take one value F = 1 then E>Ef F = 0 Couldn't we have both values at E=Ef More in the step function if F(FD) = 1/2 could give the energy value of E=Ef
