Dude. Thank you so much for showing what the fucking road looks like getting into this. I have had a hard time finding anything that shows the actual road leading to the trail head. I was just up in prairie creek/Klamath/trees of mystery area and redwood state/national park area and my Honda is lowered so I didn’t want to chance getting it stuck or hydro locking it, so I’m glad that I didn’t attempt it. But now I know to rent something with some more reasonable ground clearance before attempting. This is on my bucket list while I still live in the state. 🙌🙌

You can also start from Patrick creek park trailhead. 9 mile round trip. All through thick redwood forest

@@californiathroughmylens it's about a 3 to 4 hour hike. It's all groomed trails with little elevation gain or loss.

Hi I was just there today is it down this dusty road ‘Davison Road’ that you have to drive to get to the park entrance fee portion. Was almost going to gravel bike it but that first hill looked intense a lot of unknowns. A couple of older folks with e bikes were going to do it no way to know if they went all the way I like to think they did!

I’ve been on Fern Canyon, and he is absolutely correct that the view is incredible!!! We we went, three years ago, we drove our car through the [almost dry] creek bed to the parking lot. Fern Canyon is awesome! (We saw it on our way back from Multnomah Falls, Oregon and Seattle and Olympic Nation Forest. I don’t know if California Through My Lens has a video on the Grand Canyon, but it’s awesome!!! (Hiked the park on my way back from Moab, Utah). There a great BBQ place at Glen Canyon damn and Horseshoe Bend that you should check out!!! You can see Zion the best from Lava Point Overlook (8,000 feet!!!). I could type a whole page. Lol
@californiathroughmylens5 жыл бұрын
Glad you agree about the views! Interesting that the creek was basically dry when you went as well. I just hiked rim to rim on the Grand Canyon and will have a video on that on my other channel in the next few weeks. I agree that there is so much awesome stuff to see in the southwest like you said though!
