Bud doesn’t spar you to try to knock you out. He literally spar to work on what he’s tryna work on. I think that’s the misconception most ppl have. They spar Bud and be like “he’s sharp” but pay attention to how his opponents react to his power in the ring. It was clear from the 2nd round on that Bud had A LOT more power than what Spence was prepared for

LOVE THE WAY JRS CAREER IS MOVING , ITS NOT A RACE STAY PATIENT , HARDLY HAD AN AMETURE CAREER SO HES LEARNING AS HE GOES , SPARRING GREAT FIGHTERS , BEING IN THIER CAMPS HAS A TOP TEAM TRAINER , AND HONESTLY I DIDNT EXPECT MUCH BUT DUDES SURPRISED ME IN HIS FIGHTS I SEE THE SKILLS THE TOOLS PATIENCE IN RING , HES BEEN BETTER THAN I THOUGHT , IVE BEEN WATCHING HIM AND HES GONNA MAKE SOME NOISE

Yeah, I never quite got that part where the only 2 arguments the pro Spence people had was 1) Spence is bigger 2) therefore he must be the stronger guy. It's like they never even bothered to look into Crawford.

@@sonyaugustin5179 True, he was _very_ dismissive of Crawford throughout the years. He would even bring up low PPV numbers as a reason for not taking that fight. Which is a weird thing for a trainer to say. Bruce Vane made some post fight videos which are quite funny. On in one of the thumbnails you can see Derrick James giving Crawford some mean looks. If looks could kill, man oh man!
