Valjoux ( val-shuul) big fan here. I just acquired a 17 jewel 2 register chrono manual wind with glycine singer dial that came out of solid gold camaro style case.. I cant find a ss case to build..

My chronographe Suisse has no visible marking on movement …. when looking at the back It has just machined lines going across it... Im wondering if it is franken.

Hi Fernando, Great videos and thank you for sharing what you know about watches. So I have a 3 port Aristo with a Valjoux 71 AXP Swiss. From what I've been able to research many of the early Valjoux 71 didn't have any other markings. The bridge does have Aristo Import Co. INC and the typical 17 Jewel count and something "Adjusted" Now I don't know why that is or if maybe I have a fake. Although the case has Aristo stamped and looks similar to others from the early 40s.

Lots of Frankenstein watchers on eBay like Patek Philippe big looking things with all strange shapes and designs that are over the top and look like lots of different parts put together, they sell for quite a lot but you can tell they are not the real deal.
